Dear Fellow Film Lover,
Pálás is temporarily closed until we are informed by HSE that it is safe to re-open. This includes our bar and restaurant. We have really appreciated the support of our audience over the past few weeks and we would also like to thank our brilliant staff who have given us everything through this difficult period. Their kindness and professionalism is, as always, the heart and soul of this place.
For the duration of our closure, our social media will still be active and we urge you to keep engaged with us for updates, film fun, and staff recommendations. We need cinema more than ever during these times and as sad as it is to lose the communal cinema-going experience for a period of time, we will all still be watching films and sharing our thoughts. Cinema brings people together and we’d like this to continue as much as possible while we are closed.
For those of you who missed out on our brilliant recent releases such as Bacurau, Calm With Horses, The Elephant Man re-release to name a few, we will try to bring these back to our screens as soon as we are back open.
And for those of you asking about our David Lynch Season, we will be rescheduling all these films so please don’t worry, we would never deny you the opportunity of seeing these films on the big screen!
Even though our physical venues are closed, we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of our online sister company Volta, bringing you the best of Irish and independent cinema from the comfort of your own home.
We will be rescheduling as many of our forthcoming special events as possible over the coming weeks and will be in touch with ticketholders regarding new dates. Refunds will be issued for any tickets for cancelled screenings over the coming days. If you have any queries please contact email@example.com.
Our main concern is the safety of our staff and customers and we will be closely monitoring the situation daily and promise we’ll be back open as soon as we feel it is safe and responsible to do so.
Take care of yourselves,
